Shoyu Ahi Poke

Shoyu ahi poke with rice is one of my favorite comfort meals.  Cubes of ahi mixed with shoyu, sesame oil, seaweed, and onions to give it that perfect crunch and flavor.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. ahi sushi grade
  • Tbsp shoyu
  • Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 stalk green onion chopped
  • ½ Tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger minced
  • ½ onion diced
  • Hawaiian salt & pepper to taste
  • ogo optional

Instructions

  • Prep your ingredients by cutting ahi into cubes, chopping onion, mincing garlic and ginger, and dicing onion.
  • Add all ingredients to medium bowl with sauces. Mix until everything is well incorporated and season to taste.
