What Is Kalua Pig?

It is a traditional Hawaiian dish that is made by slow roasting pig in an underground Imu (or oven). The pork becomes so tender, juicy, and has an incredible smoky delicious flavor. Check out my super easy recipe here to make some at home.

Ingredients

  • Wonton chips Or your choice of chips
  • Kalua pig
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Avocado
  • Jalapenos
  • Tomato Chopped
  • Sour Cream

Instructions

  • Spread chips on microwaveable plate or sheet pan to put in oven.
  • Top with cheese and Kalua pig. Cook in oven or microwave until the cheese has melted.
  • Top with the rest of your ingredients and Enjoy!!
